A note on insurance
Why Prévant is direct-pay — and what that means for you.
Insurance-based care is built around 12-minute visits and reimbursable diagnosis codes. That model can't support 90-minute intakes, comprehensive hormone workups, or the kind of longitudinal relationship where your provider actually remembers who you are — so we don't try to force it.
Standard labs and imaging ordered through our outside partners can still be billed to your insurance in most cases. On request, we provide a superbill for the medical portion of your visits, which you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan; we can't guarantee what your carrier will reimburse, but many members recover a meaningful portion of the visit fee this way.

Because our panel is capped and new-patient slots only open quarterly, membership works more like an annual relationship than a month-to-month app. Paying monthly is simply a cash-flow option — it doesn't shorten the commitment, since guaranteeing your slot means we turn away other new patients to hold it for you.
